As a Software Engineer at Amscot, you will be a key team member working on a vast portfolio of technology products across Amscot's ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

• Continuously design, build, troubleshoot and optimize the applications, products, APIs data environment at Amscot.
• Develop resilient, scalable and secure solutions using cloud native services.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Collaborate with product and technology leadership in developing and delivering on product and software roadmaps.
• Foster a positive team environment, driving standards, collaboration, quality and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain successful relationships with internal business partners, Technology Team and vendors.

Requirements

Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills - Required:

• Hands-on experience with JavaScript (Vue.js, Node.js), .Net (Asp.net, Core), Python
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, SQL or PostgresSQL.
• Experience with AWS, Gitlab, RESTful APIs, web-based services, containers microservices.
• Ability to self-manage but also work as part of a close-knit team using Agile development tools.
• Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders such as customers, technologists, business owners and end users.
• Excellent problem-solving and follow-up skills; must act as a proactive team player.
• Experience with software development methodologies e.g., Agile/SCRUM/Kanban.

Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills - Preferred:

• Experience with Automate, Mule (MuleSoft), PowerBI, GraphQL Engine (Hasura)
• Experience working in a regulatory environment such as Financial Services.
