Job Description

We are a fast paced development team following agile development practices with frequent code releases to production.

The job involves complete in-house product development using various technologies like Java, Oracle No-SQL, React, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Cloud Native Development and various services offered by Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. There is ample opportunity to work on both front end as well as backend aspects of web development.

Strong computer science fundamentals and experience with Java, Web Application Development, UI frameworks like React, Agile Methodologies and Clean Code Principles is desired.

• BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
• 1-2+ years of software engineering or related experience.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and distributed systems architecture best practices
• Ability to work in ambiguity, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks
• Partner with scrum master(s)/product managers to identify continuous improvement opportunities within processes and implement strategies to drive improvements
• Strong communication skills with ability to work efficiently in a team environment

Knowledge of cloud architecture, prior experience developing cloud native applications & experience with AI/ML is a plus.

Responsibilities

You will:

1. Work with Product managers to understand and refine requirements
2. Deliver increments in sprints - we will follow Agile development
3. Be involved in full stack web application development & cloud native microservices development
4. Do root cause analysis to improve the quality of the product, simplify the development process, and improve the developer productivity - think continuous improvement

US: Hiring Range: from $62,100 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
