The starting pay range for this role is $125,000 – $145,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible for Cash Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (DPS) contributions. The role may also be eligible for a discretionary signing bonus and/or relocation assistance.

What You’ll Be Doing

Engineers develop expertise across diverse projects and technologies. As a Software Engineer you will:

• Build systems and data pipelines that enable publishing teams to create and move millions of digital assets to our website and mobile applications.
• Use software to automate distribution center activities to make work safer and more efficient.
• Leverage data to support product development and marketing decisions.
• Build technical knowledge through learning groups, book clubs, and one-on-one mentoring.

• 2+ years of experience writing clean, thoughtful code using C#, C++, Java or equivalent.
• Familiarity with modern web technology stacks such as .Net, Spring, React, etc.
• The ability to thrive in a highly collaborative team environment with agile practices.
• Curiosity and a passion for creating exceptional customer experiences.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• An interest in developing skills to lead projects and mentor other engineers is a plus.
