Software Engineer

Dark Wolf Solutions is looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer who will join our team in development and maintenance of multiple, mission critical, applications. The position will work directly with the customer and Dark Wolf team to evaluate end user needs, design solutions, and integrate them within current applications.
Tasks may include assisting with:

• Developing custom web applications that integrate AI/ML models and custom built forensic tools
• Communicate with other organizations to stay on top of cutting edge tools and methods, and integrating them within our applications
• Work within an agile team and use methodologies such as Scrum to deliver software capabilities iteratively in small batches
• Implement unit and integration tests for developed software to ensure sufficient test coverage of software
• Supporting and working alongside a cross-functional engineering team on the latest technologies
• Developing and iterating best practices to increase the quality and velocity of deployments

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years professional experience as a full stack web application developer working as part of an agile team
• Proficiency with the following languages: Python, and Experience with Ruby is a plus
• Experience developing modern JavaScript SPAs using component-based frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue.js
• Experience designing applications using HTML, CSS, and UI frameworks such as Bootstrap, Vuetify, or Material UI
• Experience developing REST APIs with frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, Flask, Express (Node.js), or Spring Boot
• Experience developing CRUD logic using ORM frameworks or libraries for integration of relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or Elasticsearch
• Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation process and security requirements
• Experience with agile development tools such as git for version control and JIRA for task tracking
• Experience with Docker/OCI containers
• Must have an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience integrating AI/ML models within backend microservices
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Experience using PaaS or IaaS cloud platforms such as Pivotal, Heroku, AWS, GCP, or Azure for app deployment   

Salary range for role is 130,000-160,000 commensurate on experience.
