Software Engineer

Galileo Financial Technologies, LLC seeks Software Engineer in Seattle, WA:
Job Duties: Collaborate to expand Galileo’s payment system and build out new ones. Implement new
functionality, squash bugs, test and deploy, monitor, and support mission critical systems, work on
hyper scale modern payment technology, and continually grow as an engineer. Be an integral part the
development and testing of our systems and services. Help translate product requirements into user
stories and technical solutions. Implement and support highly available and scalable services in a
production environment that impacts millions of individuals. Generate ideas for process improvement,
initiatives, and new technologies. Communicate and collaborate with project leads, product managers
and other software developers. Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or
closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Amazon Web Services (AWS); (2) Microsoft Azure cloud-based services;
(3) Automate build deployment; (4) SQL Server; (5) Writing and fixing errors in software code; (6)
Database Operations; (7) Visual Studio; (8) PowerBI; (9) SharePoint Server. Any suitable combination of
education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.
