POSITION: Software Engineer

JOB DUTIES: Develop complex software systems that scale to millions of users, all with
production quality deployment, monitoring, and reliability. Design, develop, test, deploy,
maintain, and improve backend systems. Measure and monitor SLOs, error budgets, and
maintain error budget policies for entire backend system. Bring SRE practices to product teams
to maximize the balance of reliability and their development velocity. Monitor microservices and
solve alerts from outage. Join on-call rotation and improve its process. Conduct and improve
Post-Mortem review meetings. Improve application security, reliability, and performance.
Remote work is permitted.

HOURS: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday

SALARY:

Zone 1: 138,655 -189,800
Zone 2: 138,655 -170,800
Zone 3: 138,655 -151,800

REQUIREMENTS

Main Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field of study and two (2) years of experience as a Software Engineer or related occupation.

Special Skills: Also requires two (2) years of experience in the following:

• System operation and monitoring;
• Cloud infrastructures such as GCP, AWS, or Azure;
• Infrastructure as code (Terraform or Pulumni);
• System operation based on SLA and SLO;
• DBMS administration (MySQL);
• Cloud based infrastructure security; and
• Application development with Go or PHP.
