Software Engineer
Job Description
Two Six Technologies is seeking an experienced and motivated Software Engineer to work within a cross-functional development team focused on advancing the state-of-the-art in cyber security technology.
Day In & Day Out Responsibilities:
- Development of middleware services using python
- Develop & maintain custom software solutions
- Lead internal developers to enhance and implement new features
- Participate in code reviews and internal agile scrums
Keys for Success:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in software development
- Experience with middleware development working with Python primarily
- Strong coding skills (e.g., Java, Python)
Bonus Points:
- An active DoD clearance is strongly preferred (Secret or above)
- Web-Application Development experience is preferred
- Experience working with Docker and SQL databases are pluses
- Exposure to DevSecOps and Agile environments and processes
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Experience optimizing code for performance, scalability, and stability
- Prior experience in cybersecurity
Clearance Requirements:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance
