A Little About Us:
The Yahoo Media Tools Team operates two main services, an established and robust delivery platform, and a fast-growing integration platform. As a member of the team, you'll contribute to both codebases, participate in platform architecture discussions, and review coworkers' code. The team follows an agile workflow, daily stand-ups, multiple deploys a week, with weekly sprint planning and reviews.
A Lot About You:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Strong understanding of data structures, distributed systems, database concepts, and security concepts of large scale applications
• Strong understanding of design patterns, Object-Oriented Programming, GraphQL, Functional Programming, and REST API development and/or integration
• At least 2 years of working experience with Java, Python, or PHP
• Working experience with MySQL, Unix, and Open Source Software
• Working experience with Agile Development

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working experience with or understanding of cloud computing such as AWS
• Working experience with Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and Deployment tools
