As a Senior Software Engineer you will be a member of the core services team building our innovative solution team building and maintaining the suite of core services utilized by IAS edge applications such as fraud, brand safety and suitability verification. You would play a key role in the design, development and support of a cloud-based suite of microservices supporting IAS edge applications. You will work side-by-side with highly skilled and motivated software engineers, data engineers, and data scientists to deliver this high priority and strategic solution.Â
What you’ll get to do:
- Participate in system/software architecture specifications and reviews
- Design and develop containerized and distributed services in the Cloud
- Implement new features in existing services and develop new components
- Work with leading Cloud platform services and tools to implement and maintain real-time event-driven components
- Collaborate with technical team members using an Agile development process
You should apply if you have most of this experience:Â
- 5+ years of experience in software application development with a focus on containerized services
- Extensive working experience in high throughput distributed systems
- Expertise in event-driven design patterns
- Expertise with Java
- Working knowledge in AWS services such as S3, SQS, SNS, EC2, ECR, EKS, CloudWatch and others
- Working knowledge of distributed tracing and observability
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes is a plus
- Working knowledge of gRPC is a plus
