PRIMARY FUNCTION

Troy 7, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to provide database development, configuration management, and technical support for MDA's System Assessment team (SEG). In this position you will provide support for the System Test and Assessment Requirements Tool (START) database.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Engage in START requirements definition, schema development, interface development, testing, data management, documentation, and user support
  • Assist in the development of the START web-based user interface
  • Participate in the enhancement of the SQL Server database schema and stored procedures
  • Implement improvements to DevSecOps policies and practices

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Experience with the installation and administration of Microsoft SQL Server
  • Development experience using Microsoft .NET framework and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Familiarity with IA code analysis tools like Fortify or SonarQube
  • Experience configuring and deploying Microsoft .NET applications
  • Experience developing user interfaces for Microsoft .NET web applications
  • Familiarity managing source code with tools like Git - Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, C#, and HTML

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM field
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Security+ certification or equivalent
  • Experience deploying apps in the MDA environment is desired
