Job Description
What you'll do
Work closely with senior, lead, business analysts and product owner to design, develop and maintain software components and products that support H&R Block business applications. Understand business and functional requirements and produce technical specifications and product requirements. Create and utilize APIs using .Net and C#. Build new screens and maintain and enhance existing screens for the applications. Create required infrastructure services for the applications. Develop web-based interfaces using JavaScript and Angular, and build reusable components. Program SQL Queries, and design mobile-based components by using media queries. Use Microsoft ADO source control for build and deployment pipelines. Participate in production support to resolve the user issues, fix bugs and defects, and optimize the user experience. Store user activities and error logging. Participate in cross-browser testing and cross-device testing.

What you'll bring to the team
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
4 years of software development lifecycle experience to include:
- Write code with Visual Studio.
- Develop web applications with Microsoft IIS and database.
- Develop web-based interfaces with JavaScriptand Angular.
- Build and consume APIs using .Net and C#.
- Azure DevOps source control.
- SQL and Media Queries.
- SignalR.
- API management - Swagger.
- Testing using Browser Stack.
- User experience optimizing with HTML, jQuery and CSS.
- Appservices, Function Apps, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage and Azure Application Insights.
In lieu of a Bachelor's plus four years of experience, a Master's plus two years of experience would be acceptable.
This position allows for remote work from anywhere within the U.S.

The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed.
Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan.
