Your Contribution:

We are looking for engineers excited to build major features and enhancements to our product, and who have a passion for intuitive user interfaces and efficient workflows. As a software engineer working in product at Torch, you will help create delightful experiences for our customers in close collaboration with stakeholders on the engineering, product, and operations teams. You will take a significant role in owning features and will collaborate closely with the CTO and other leaders to land changes that meaningfully affect the course of the business.

What we are looking for:

• 1+ year of experience in a professional engineering environment
• Comfort with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and a frontend framework such as React or Vue
• A strong interest in building impactful, user-facing products
• Some familiarity with a web server framework like Express, Flask, or Rails
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Ideal candidates will also have:

• Studied or worked professionally in visual or user experience design
• Worked in the healthcare industry, especially in a start-up office environment
• Owned the end-to-end development of a significant product feature
