Software Engineer

Our software engineers empower fast and accurate data collection and statistics aggregation and team with MLB, NBA, NHL, and NASCAR to deliver high-value data and insights to clients such as FOX Sports, CBS, and Amazon Prime. • Work with leading edge, modern, and emerging technologies such as microservice architectures, serverless infrastructure, and cloud providers

THE CHALLENGE:

• Take ownership in shaping and delivering key features and products

• Write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code, increasing unit test coverage and confidence through system transparency and observability
• Collaborate with and become integral to a cross-functional team of Product, Design, Engineering, and DevOps
• Work in a modern, collaborative development environment using GitLab, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery

Your Profile:

• 5+ years experience building highly scalable systems using high-level programming languages and enterprise-scale database systems. This position will be expected to influence future technology and architectural choices as well as support existing systems utilizing Ruby, Javascript/TypeScript, and relational databases.
• Passion for enabling system performance, extensibility, and resiliency through the development of microservices
• Desire to become immersed in serverless architecture and infrastructure as code
• Aptitude for developing cloud-native solutions that provide mission-critical data to large clients
• Energized by guiding and motivating software development teams and by mentoring junior team members
• Agile software development and engineering best practices experience
• Excellent communication skills, and well-honed collaboration skills
