Software Engineer-8

Due to the growth of our business, XSense.ai Inc. is in demand of professional services of a Software Engineer. The Software Engineer will be responsible for the following duties:

• Design and develop algorithms related to localization and mapping by consuming different sensor data in the real-world.
• Understanding of assisting driving stack module features and develop test plans and test cases to cover all aspects of the algorithms.
• Ensure quality of our sensor fusion algorithms by testing them for functionality, reliability, and accuracy performance.
• Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware, or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance.
• Design or develop software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
• Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements in order to improve the stability, safety, and security of onboard software.
• Improve and sustain reliable calibration process through continuous integration, automated testing, and code reviews.
• Conduct various performance tests of systems in accordance with test criteria established by policies and procedures or written test plans and maintains accurate records of test results and reports results.
• Prepare progress reports and documentation of productivity with respect to implemented projects.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related.
• Familiar with Linux and proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
• Experience with simulation tools like ROS and
• Ability to think analytically and solve technical problems in a compute constrained system.
• Clear communication and ability to work with others.
