JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Mid-Senior level Software Developer to join our software development team to help support our web-based applications. Your primary focus will be to learn the codebase, gather user data, work with senior developers, and act as support to end users. You should have a working knowledge of programming languages, the ability to learn new technology quickly, and the ability to work in a team environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Responsibilities:

• Front line support for users’ questions and issues.
• Gather information from users about program functionality.
• Communicate and coordinate with management on project tasks.
• Help document new and existing code.
• Write and maintain good clean code.
• Write and maintain unit tests.
• Assist the team with all aspects of software design and coding.
• Assist in identifying and developing areas for revisions in current projects
• Must show attention to detail, have a positive attitude, express a willingness to learn, be challenged, and to take pride in the quality and timeliness of your work.
• Assist in requirements analysis, software design, coding, unit testing, integration, installation and maintenance.
• Gather, identify and refine requirements.
• Develop and write Specification and design documents

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work history.
• Medium to high skill level in C#, TSQL and JavaScript.
• Medium skill level with REST web services.
• Knowledge of JSON.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming.
• Familiar with relational database design, preferably MS SQL Server
• Knowledge and understanding of design patterns.
• Ability to follow best practices when writing code.
• Medium skill level of GIT and using a code repository
• Understanding of documenting software using diagrams such as Entity Relationship Diagrams, Flow Diagrams, Use Case Diagrams, etc.
• Experience in Visual Code, Visual Studio 2024, and SQL Management Studio required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
