Software Engineer
Job Description
Two Six Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer for work on a research program around large-scale planning activities. The ideal candidate will have experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot or Micronaut. The candidate should have experience with Java 11 or greater, other JVM languages are a plus. The candidate should be able to take requirements and develop the necessary web services based on the specifications. Experience with Scrum development methodologies is a plus.
Responsibilities Include:
Contribute to the development of microservices
Work on improvements to existing services
Integrate into a cloud agnostic service mesh
Integrate 3rd party code artifacts into the greater platform
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 months of Java experience
RDBMS experience, PostgreSQL preferred
Hibernate/JPA experience
Knowledge of REST principles and standards
Experience with Spring Boot, Micronaut, or other JVM microservices frameworks
Experience with Git, Gradle, CI/CD environments
Nice If You Have:
DoD secret clearance or higher
Experience deploying and running in AWS
Kotlin, Groovy, Scala experience
Docker knowledge
Frontend Experience with JS
Node.js
Clearance/Citizenship:
Candidate must be a US Citizen with the ability to get a DoD clearance.
