About This Role

Job Description :
Design & develop core features for our meeting room product Zoom Rooms, such as Personal Zoom Rooms feature, Audio related feature, and hardware integrations. Ensure features can be implemented as designed. Work with different platform engineers to discuss specific implementations in technical details, aiming to unify the cross-platforms user experience. Complete the development docs to record the detailed design of the new feature. Develop and test new features on both Mac and iOS platforms based on development knowledge. Maintain existing features of Zoom Rooms to keep Zoom Rooms provide highly reliable service. Develop foundation component of Zoom Rooms. Ensure other teammates can quickly develop new features base on the foundation component. Develop and maintain the foundation component of the system, including ensuring the inter-process communication module can be used on the Mac platform for all Zoom applications. Develop and maintain common UI components on Mac and iOS platform which can be reused in different user interfaces. Collaborate with the big data team to provide Zoom Rooms data analysis to the product team. Research new features/technology on the latest Mac OS and iOS platform to incorporate into Zoom Meetings Rooms as well as introduce them to the product team and engineer team. Research new technologies to introduce them to Zoom's product for a better meeting rooms experience, including the CEC protocol which is used for controlling the TV in meeting rooms. Research new technologies to introduce them to Zoom's product for a better meeting experience, including the Dante protocol which can transport captured audio data by IP network. Analyze customer tickets and requests from support team to develop or find solutions to any issues found. Work with the support team to find out the root cause and fix it with the engineer team. Perform research and finish the feasibility study to report to the product team.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or a foreign equivalent, plus 3 years of experience in job offered or related role. Applicants must have 3 years of experience in the following: (1) using Objective-C, Cocoa frameworks, and MVC application design; (2) C++/STL; (3) cross-platform, IPC, multi-process, and multi-threading programming; (4) debugging skills; (5) computer science and software engineering, including data structures, algorithms, networks communication, and software design; (6) meeting room integrations with smart devices including Smart camera, microphone, TV, and Electronic whiteboard. Salary Range or On Target Earnings:
Minimum:
$90,500.00
Maximum:
$209,200.00
In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.
