Your Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer for AutoTrac and Rowsense Team located in Des Moines, IA or Austin, TX, you will....• Develop steering software for the primary display unit and embedded microcontrollers on agricultural vehicles• Manage the integration of software into the Embedded 32 and Safe Embedded 32 operating systems• Debug steering software using data gathering and analysis tools• Maintain and improve our software development processes
What Skills You Need
• 2 or more years of software development experience• 2 or more years of electronic system design, development, and validation of embedded software• Knowledge of components used in embedded systems including microcontrollers, operating systems, sensors, and actuators
What Makes You Stand Out
• Qt or similar object oriented programming experience• Academic background or equivalent experience in designing controls systems• Experience with GPS systems, communication bus interfaces, and sensor technologies
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: • BS degree in computer engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, controls engineering, or equivalent experience
