Software Engineer - Ads

THE CHALLENGE

Eventbrite is seeking a Software Engineer to join us in our mission to bring the world together through live experiences. Last year alone, our platform processed over 150 million tickets across over 3 million events organized by our creators. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to build beautiful, responsive, delightful, and intuitive user interfaces that our creators and attendees are excited to use every day.

THE TEAM

The Eventbrite Ads team is tackling a new challenge by building a new internal ad platform that aims to help our creators get better results with their marketing dollars. Our team is currently looking for a customer obsessed, highly collaborative, and entrepreneurial person to join our scrappy squad bringing this new platform out of beta and into a revenue generating powerhouse. You will contribute to Eventbrite engineering’s culture of technical excellence through inclusivity, knowledge sharing, and mentorship. THE ROLE

We heavily leverage AWS technology to get the job done. On any given day you will be working with Lambdas, ECS and Fargate, Serverless Aurora, API Gateway, Terraform, Docker, Kinesis, and much more! We are committed to scalability through serverless applications where it makes sense.

THE SKILLSET

• Practical experience working with Python in back-end application
• Experience integrating with APIs from front-end clients
• Familiarity with the SDLC and CI/CD pipelines
• A result driven self starter with great communication and collaboration skills
• Unit-testing know-how required, experience with TDD or BDD is an added bonus
• You work with teams that are continuously delivering and automating processes, you are excited about working in a world class SDLC environment

• A/B Testing knowledge and/or experience
• Experience with AWS and developing APIs
• Data Engineering or ML experience
• Experience in Martech, Ads, or similar industries and functions
• Active Eventbrite user with a passion for live events
