Software Engineer, Android

We are seeking a full-time experienced Android engineer to co-own development of our widely used Android app. With in-person work increasing in popularity recently, our mobile apps have seen a particularly large jump in active users. With this shift in priorities we’re investing our time into mobile-first features as well as ensuring parity with our web app.

• Building new features
• Working with PMs and Designers to define expected functionality
• Coordinating with other engineers (Server, Web, iOS)
• Fixing bugs and performance issues
• Maintaining a high standard of code architecture

• 4+ years of professional experience developing Android apps with Kotlin or Java
• Experience with multi-threading, networking, and memory management on Android devices 
• Has a passion to build best-in-class user interfaces on mobile apps
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues on feature requirements and technical problems
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science

Salary range

Salary Range: $185,000 to $190,000 USD per year.
