Job Description

Job Title: Software Engineer

Location: East Hartford, CT or Remote will be considered

Due to the nature of work involved, US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status is required

Job Role and Responsibilities:

Respond to help desk tickets for web applications with SQL Server/Oracle databases as backend (Both on-prem and azure cloud)

Perform application administration tasks

Coordinate with various stakeholders to resolve help desk issues

Willing to learn the application and flows to effectively troubleshoot.

Analyze help desk tickets and propose resolutions

Understand applications Integrations with ERP and other systems

Meet weekly to review issues with application owners and provide statuses

Perform software testing.

Support Month end and year end activities.

Work with offshore to troubshoot issues and enhancements.

Occasionally update SharePoint website content

Run data extraction scripts as neededSupport Month end and year end activities.

Job Requirement:

Experience with Information Technologies and Database

Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

Solid organization skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking

Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Minimum 6 months experience with SQL is required
