Software Engineer - Application Support

Job Description

Responsible to perform the following:• Respond to help desk tickets for web applications with SQL Server/Oracle databases as backend (Both on-prem and azure cloud)

• Perform application administration tasks• Coordinate with various stakeholders to resolve help desk issues

• Willing to learn the application and flows to effectively troubleshoot.

• Analyze help desk tickets and propose resolutions

• Understand applications Integrations with ERP and other systems

• Meet weekly to review issues with application owners and provide statuses• Perform software testing.

• Support Month end and year end activities.

• Work with offshore to troubshoot issues and enhancements.

• Occasionally update SharePoint website content• Run data extraction scripts as needed

• Support Month end and year end activities.

US Persons

Database, IT background desired

Strong communication skills both written and verbal

Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

Solid organization skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking

Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Experience with SQL preferred,
