Software Engineer - C#

This role will be a hybrid role based out of our American Fork, UT office 2 days per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays). Unfortunately, Henry Schein One is unable to hire individuals residing in North Dakota, Hawaii, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Puerto Rico, or other US Territories at this time. This role is a W2 role and will not consider C2C candidates.
Job Summary
This position is for an aspiring software engineer who is looking for mentorship, career development and opportunities to learn. This position will be responsible for performing full stack programming tasks for the maintenance and enhancement of our Dentrix Dental Practice Management System. What You Will Do

• Implement new features, enhance existing features, and eliminate bugs
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings
• Own your personal development by learning and growing (being mentored & mentoring others)
• Solve problems using knowledge, passion and curiosity
• Code with adherence to best practices including test driven development
• Partner with our DevOps team to support CI/CD pipelines

Travel/Physical Demands

• Travel typically less than 10%. No special physical demands required.

Technologies

• C# and .NET framework
• Java, C and C++ are a plus
• SQL
• REST Web APIs

Qualifications
What You Will Have

• 2+ years of experience with C#
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Enjoy sharing ideas with, and learning from, other team members
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science preferred

The posted range for this position is $66,000 - $85,000 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a 7.5% bonus not reflected in the posted range.
