Responsibilities

The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, documenting, and integrating components for OEM implementations of a satellite Radio product. The main languages used are C++ and Java in QNX, Linux, and Android environments.

Skills

Must have

General:• Bachelor's or Master's Degree either in CS, EE, or EC Engineering• A clear understanding of the Agile methodology• Configuration Management Systems (CMS) like Jira, and Confluence
Software development:• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)• Embedded Software development experience• Experience Programming in C++11• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts• Software Version Control experience (Git)• Web development concepts (HTML, CSS, XML, JSON)• Experience working with Linux-based, and Android OS

Nice to have

• Java and Android using RxJava, Dagger, and JNI• Scripting languages experience (Ruby, Python)
