We do this by using extraordinary people and flexible capital to help companies solve problems. Our $975 billion in assets under management include investment vehicles focused on private equity, real estate, public debt and equity, infrastructure, life sciences, growth equity, opportunistic, non-investment grade credit, real assets and secondary funds, all on a global basis. Blackstone Technology & Innovations (BXTI) is the technology team at the heart of each of Blackstone's businesses and growth initiatives. Serving a diverse range of internal and external clients, we strive to build the next generation of systems that manage risk, enhance efficiency, and improve transparency within our organization and across our extensive community of investors and portfolio companies.

BXTI is agile and entrepreneurial - our open, iterative design processes and rapid development pace ensure that every team member has the opportunity to make a meaningful impact from day one. We are problem solvers who can take projects from concept to execution. We believe in active mentoring and nurturing excellence. Through collaboration, we strive to find the best solutions for the firm. Our contributions are crucial for maintaining the firm's competitive edge.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Full Stack Developer with an AVP title level to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for developing high-quality software solutions using C# .Net, SQL Server, Snowflake, AWS, Terraform, Docker, Nginx, and other cutting-edge technologies. We follow the Agile framework and operate on biweekly sprints, so familiarity with Agile principles is a bonus. The ideal candidate is proactive with a strong background in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and applications
  • Implement cloud-native solutions using AWS, Terraform, Docker, Nginx and other relevant technologies
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support front-end applications and third-party integrations.
  • Ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure code through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to coding standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and provide technical support when needed.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our software solutions remain competitive
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify business needs, and define project scope
  • Act as a mentor to junior developers and contribute to a positive team culture, as well as be open to mentorship from more senior engineers

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in full stack software development
  • Strong proficiency in C# .Net, SQL Server, Snowflake, and experience with cloud technologies (preferably AWS)
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and containerization technologies like Docker
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and principles, particularly Scrum
  • Deep understanding of RESTful API design and development
  • Proven ability to develop scalable, secure, and maintainable code
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of web server technologies such as Nginx
  • Good to have: Experience with Kubernetes or AWS ECS for container orchestration.
  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
