Protegrity is seeking experienced technical professionals to join our cloud product team creating enterprise data security products for global organizations. You’ll join a team of natural problem-solvers who consistently bring innovative solutions to our customers in a fast-paced agile environment. As part of Protegrity’s talented product development team you will contribute to the full product lifecycle to include product discovery research new feature development and maintenance. This position is perfect for a creative inquisitive individual who enjoys working with a close team building technical solutions and making customers successful.

To qualify you should have 5+ years of relevant experience in developing & integrating scalable solutions in the cloud. Ideally you should have experience in at least one object-oriented programming language as well as experience working in the cloud. You should also have a thirst for knowledge a team-centric approach and a willingness to tackle any task.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teammates daily to enable progress toward team goals.

• Architect and build serverless microservices in the cloud.

• Architect and build software solutions in Java Python and C++.

• Work with Product Owners and Product Managers to understand actual customer problems and build solutions for them.

• Automate test cases build processes and installation packages using a variety of testing tools including pytest Jenkins Terraform and Cloud Formation.

• Write user friendly documentation and technical documents using clear concise language.

• Participate in scrum ceremonies and processes prioritizing team progress and flow.

• Drive team performance by being a champion for quality goal attainment and teammate wellness.

• Conduct constructive code reviews for teammates driving growth in yourself and in others.

• Identify potential areas for improvement and contribute to the team’s ongoing goal of faster and more efficient delivery of value to our end users.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years post-bachelor’s degree experience as software engineer.

• Highly competent in verbal and written communication.

• Mastery of computer science fundamentals.

• Ability to multiply the abilities and skills of others.

• Experience building and maintaining software products in Java Python C++ (or similar).

• Knowledge and experience with one or more database systems preferably structured (SQL).

• Willingness to continue learning and re-learning new technologies and methods.

• Comfortable with critical thinking and creative problem solving.

Desired Skills:

• Experience implementing cloud-native solutions in AWS Azure or GCP.

• Experience writing test cases pytest.

• Experience writing and deploying serverless functions at massive scale.

• Experience packaging serverless code for automated installation on customer environments.

• Experience writing product documentation.

• Experience writing technical design documents.

• Experience in data protection encryption and tokenization.

• Experience writing code for both windows and linux environments.

• Experience developing database APIs such as JDBC (or similar).

• Experience performance testing cloud applications at scale.

• Experience automating QA / build pipelines using modern CI/CD tools.

• Experience with suspended fabric resting environments.

• Experience with humor.

$125000 - $135000 a year

For residents of CA WA NY MN HI IL DC and CO the pay range for this position is $125 000.00- $135 000.00 . This range reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for this position plus any variable earnings if applicable to the position. The individual compensation may be dependent on a variety of factors such as geographic location level job-related knowledge skills and experience and performance.
