Job Description
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures or algorithms.
- 2 years of experience with machine learning algorithms and tools, artificial intelligence, deep learning and camera related domains, (e.g., computational photography).
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- Experience or education in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or Graphics, including the productization of models or related publications.
- Experience in one or more general purpose programming languages including C/C++, Python.
- Experience in 3D rendering engines (e.g. unreal, unity) or robotics and experience in Google Infrastructure (e.g. borg/flume).
- Experience in real-time performance optimization.
- Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Work with camera leads and research teams to design and develop state-of-the-art algorithms and Machine Learning models on video quality improvement/enhancement/assessment.
- Deliver the quality solutions, you will drive/conduct Research and development optimization and integration with partner teams such as System, Hardware, and Sensor Engineers, and Videographers.
- Work with Engineering leadership and Program Managers to define futuredirections on video quality, and collaborate with various teams across Google to define/improve pipeline, architecture, and specs to enable new video features.
