Software Engineer - DevSecOps Platforms

CDK is seeking a passionate DevSecOps professional who is looking to join a high-performing team to transform CDK's software delivery process through modernization, speed, quality, and efficiency as our Software Engineer - DevSecOps Platforms.

As the Software Engineer - DevSecOps Platforms, one is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Designs, develops, evaluates, and implements development tools for engineering teams including DevSecOps framework; builds and releases automation
• Modernizes existing CI/CD pipelines with efficient, template-based, and reusable micro-services
• Migrates CI/CD pipelines from on-premises to cloud-based DevSecOps platforms
• Writes automation scripts following best-practice coding principles
• Analyzes, designs, and develops new features based on the product engineering teams' requirements
• Introduces newer technologies and enhance existing systems to be fault tolerant and efficient
• Collaborates with software engineers to understand tool requirements, drives the implementation, documentation, maintenance, and improvement of these tools
• Works with developers to establish NoOps culture, empowering developers with next-generation self-service options
• Applies independent judgement to develop creative and practical solutions based on the analysis of multiple factors

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with at least 3 years of experience or a Master's degree; with at least 2 years of experience
• Must be up-to-date on the latest CI/CD industry trends and have the ability to articulate trends and potential clearly and confidently
• Extensive experience with CI/CD pipeline tools such as GitHub Actions, Bamboo, Harness, Artifactory, Nexus, etc.
• Expertise in technical skills such as Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, SQL, etc.
• Strong experience with Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes
• Exposure to delivering results in an agile environment driven by priorities
• Experience with open-source security tools such as OWASP and Public Cloud Services such as AWS
• Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Continuously seek to develop new skills and technical expertise, as well as proactively share knowledge with others
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Background in software engineering and can confidently collaborate with engineers to identify and resolve issues
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and can build strong relationships with your inclusive communication methods
• Familiarity with IT security processes, NewRelic observability platform
• Experience in Static and Dynamic Application Security Testing (SAST, DAST) platforms
• Experience in all aspects of software engineering: Define, architect, build, test, and deploy

Salary Ranges: $86,000 - $112,000

Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.
