Software Engineer - Digital Financial Tools (Java, AWS)
Job Description
Qualifications
- 7+ years of extensive hands on Application Development work experience throughout the entire project life cycle
- Strong architecture, analysis, design, coding, and code review skills with Internet applications
- Knowledge of and experience in the implementation of design patterns and best practices
- Experience in profiling, identifying and optimizing existing code and code developed by other team members
- Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with business analysts, solution architects, project managers and development teams.
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
Skills
- Java/J2SE/J2EE with a deep understanding of the language and core API's
- Experience with building APIs - RESTful APIs, Web Services, Spring Boot
- Strong understanding of Microservices architecture
- Working knowledge of RDBMS, SQL, NoSQL
- Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud)
- Multi-threaded/concurrent programming
- Work with a team that develops smart and scalable solutions and provide a solid experience for our partners
- Strong coding fundamentals - Algorithms & Data Structures
- Help us scale and deepen our partner relationships with clever solutions
- Design patterns
- Knowledge in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
- Knowledge of architecture and design across all systems
- Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
- Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
- Passionate about building an innovative culture
- Strong written and oral communication
- Spring framework, Spring boot
- Cloud Technologies including GAIA Cloud Foundry and CLI
- GIT based Source code management and tools
- Build and deployment tools like Jules and Jenkins
- Unit Testing / Automated Testing / Mock frameworks
