Job Description

The team you’ll be working with: Europe Money Movement

We are providing our customers with quick and convenient money transfers in a dozen European currencies. We build scalable systems to integrate with our partners. We work on reducing risk, improving resilience, keeping our integrations healthy, and enabling new routes for our customers. We work with banking and payment operations teams, automate their manual workflows. We are one of the largest money movement teams in the company, we are collaborating with platform teams to make our core payment processing systems better.

Qualifications

What does it take: 

• A strong product mindset, you prioritise work with the customers in mind and make data-driven decisions

• Sense of ownership and great communication skills to drive projects across teams

• You have solid Java or Kotlin knowledge, experience with Spring framework and microservice best practices

• You believe in and follow best coding practices, code reviews and open feedback

• You enjoy writing testable code and believe in Test Driven Development

• Experience working with relational databases, query optimisation and designing schemas

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Distributed and Concurrent Systems

• Hands on knowledge of system integration patterns
