Job Summary

The position objective is to design and implement video capture and playback technologies and provide support to internal and external customers such as OEMs. The employee possesses skills relevant to video processing, from implementation to optimization on software, and GPU implementation, to testing and quality assurance. The employee is capable of both independent and team-oriented work modes, self-motivating and communicating effectively with peers, supervisors, other business units, and customers.

• Develop the Dolby Vision products used in mobile & action camera.
• Support our customers integrate Dolby Vision product into their systems.
• Support stakeholders and FAE team to resolve the issues and accelerate Dolby's ecosystem.

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or comparable field.
• 1+ years programming experience in Java/C++.
• Independent, self-motivated person requiring minimal supervision.
• Fluent English communication in reading and writing.

• Familiar with Android Media Framework, like Codec2
• Understanding in media container, like MP4.
• Background in video codec technologies, such as avc/hevc/av1/.
