About the Role

As a Software Engineer on FindLaw.com team, you will be working on multiple projects developing web-based applications using Java and related technologies (e.g., Spring, Hibernate, SQL, Tomcat, Jenkins, AWS, Cloud IACs). Additionally, you will work with:

• Java Based Web Backend Development
• Responsive Based Web Design
• Relational Database (Oracle, Postgres)
• Cloud Based Development (AWS, Postgres)
• Web Analytics Monitoring (Datadog)

About You

You're a fit for the role of Software Engineer if your background includes:

• Be currently enrolled in Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline meeting program academic requirements
• Experience with Java Based Development
• Experience with Cloud Based Development
• Strong desire to learn new technologies
• Strong problem solving and issue resolution skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally to both technical and non-technical users
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize work and communicate issues in a timely manner
• Ability to work independently or as part of an agile development team
• Strong problem analysis approach.
