Software Engineer (Front-end Javascript)

ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll be working closely with our dynamic and fast-paced environment and be responsible for:

• Writing test-driven, clean, readable, and efficient code to deliver new user-facing features on the front-end
• Build modular layouts, reusable code and libraries for future use
• Translate business requirements and UI/UX wireframes into high quality software and compelling, usable interfaces
• Transform large and complex datasets to beautiful visualizations
• Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Clearly documenting any programming-related information
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Own meaningful parts of our service, have an impact, grow with the company
• Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Five (5) plus years’ work experience with front-end commercial software development projects
• Strong skills in JavaScript, React/Redux, CSS
• Experience working with AWS services
• UX/UI experience
• Experience working with GitHub or similar service
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Avid follower of the tech industry and current technology trends
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
