Software Engineer (Frontend)

What You'll Do:

• Develop and maintain user interfaces: Build and optimize the frontend of our web applications using modern web technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work with designers, product managers, and backend developers to implement new features and improve existing ones
• Ensure responsiveness and performance: Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability across devices and browsers
• Write clean, maintainable code: Follow best practices in coding and contribute to code reviews
• Implement UI/UX designs: Turn design mockups and wireframes into functioning interfaces that are consistent with our brand and style guidelines
• Debugging and troubleshooting: Identify and fix bugs or performance issues in the application
• Stay updated with industry trends: Continuously learn about new technologies and methodologies to improve development processes

What You'll Bring:

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and TypeScript: Strong understanding of core web technologies
• Experience with frontend frameworks/libraries: Hands-on experience with Angular 2.0+, React, Vue.js, or similar frameworks
• Responsive design principles: Ability to create responsive designs that work well across various devices and screen sizes
• Version control systems: Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Knowledge of web performance optimization: Understanding of best practices for optimizing web applications
• Cross-browser compatibility: Experience ensuring consistent performance across different web browsers
• API integration: Ability to integrate frontend interfaces with RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Ability to Develop and maintain Frontend systems: implementing new features and capabilities while maintaining the existing ones
• Experience with Cloud Providers: GCP, AWS
• Experience with Unit Tests: Jest, Jasmin or similar
• Self-motivated: Ability to work independently to complete tasks and collaborate with others to identify and implement solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with testing frameworks: Knowledge of tools like Cypress, Storybook, Jest or Mocha
• Familiarity with testing methodologies: TDD and BDD
