Aloft is building a team of engineers working to create highly impactful solutions in the US real estate market. The appraisal industry is the lynchpin of the gigantic real estate and mortgage industries; there is huge opportunity for improvement in efficiency and transparency. The solutions you help create will be the gateway for homeowners, lending institutions, and wall street investors to understand the value of their properties and portfolios.
 
We are expanding our Engineering Team - the technical backbone of our company. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll create the foundation of frontend development for our expanding Appraisal operation. If you’re looking to work on a small agile team that lives and breathes collaboration, we are eager to connect with you.  
 
This position is located in Seattle, WA and reports to the Chief Technical Officer.
What you'll do:
  • Work across the stack, building highly scalable solutions that enable positive user experiences both internally and externally
  • Architect and provide guidance on building end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale
  • Collaborate with product designer, our engineering team, and internal stakeholders 
  • Our codebase is in React, Node.js, and TypeScript. Familiarity with these technologies is a plus but not a necessity. 
What you'll bring:
  • 3+ years of software development experience 
  • Significant exposure to full stack work with at least one year in a backend role.
  • Experience working across the stack
