Software Engineer - Full Stack (On-site)

Promaxo, a diverse, passionate, and growing team is seeking an organized and self-motivated professional to fill our software engineer position. You will significantly contribute to building and expanding Promaxo’s cloud-based healthcare management platform. 

You will:

- Have the opportunity to work on a modern full stack application (React, Node.js, Express, MongoDB and Google Cloud platform)

- Tackle unique challenges in developing Promaxo’s web based applications 

- Engage in all phases of product development to plan, design, and develop new features

Responsibilities

• Design and build new features for an innovative medical imaging platform
• Develop and help maintain security and integrity for patient data storage and communication infrastructure
• Collaborate with software, imaging, product, data science and clinical teams to gather needs and implement features
• Deliver high-quality work on time sensitive and high impact projects. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree in computer science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• 3-4 years of industry experience in web technologies and building production applications. 
• Strong understanding and proficiency with modern Javascript, CSS, and API’s
• Experience with React and state management using hooks and Redux
• Experience with Node.js, Express, and cloud databases.
• Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
• Outstanding collaboration and communication skills
• Able to work independently on coding solutions, but comfortable seeking help or input from the team when necessary

Desired Experience

• Experience working with APIs and REST-ful services.
• Prior experience with medical imaging analysis in a scientific setting.
• Basic understanding in Python and other scripting languages.
