Software Engineer - FullStack

About this Role

As a Software Engineer, You will be part of the core product engineering team handling the Talent Acquisition AI product line, which is the flagship AI product of Eightfold. Technical contributions will span across the entire tech stack and will build exciting new customer-facing software features and capabilities.

What you will do (or learn to do)

• Develop robust, scalable, and configurable applications and modules with an emphasis on quality, performance, design, and re-usability.
• Build and ship new software features and product enhancements.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Design, and the rest of Engineering to re-iterate and enhance our product
• Prototype new ideas and iterate toward the ideal user experience
• Participate in technical discussions and plans to improve our overall software quality
• Handle enterprise customer escalation issues promptly and thoroughly.

What you bring

• BS/MS in Computer Science is preferred
• 1-5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack development. Backend and/or Frontend. (extra points for skills in Python and React)
• Experience in building, launching, and maintaining SaaS products.
• Cares about the details in the User experience and is highly driven to solve real problems for millions of Users
• Communicates and collaborates effectively across teams
• Excellent problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills and debugging in cloud environments and/or SaaS products.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is preferred
• Our Tech Stack:
• Python, Flask, SQL, Bash
• React, Redux, JavaScript, Typescript, Webpack, NextJS, JSON
• Apache Spark, Solr, Mysql, Docker
• Major AWS services like Aurora, S3, Redshift, Cloudformation, SNS, SQS etc
• Extensive use of AI and machine learning technologies

Pay Transparency

Please note this role is categorized as hybrid in Santa Clara, CA The base salary ranges below are provided for pay transparency. Base pay is only one piece of our total compensation package as this role may be eligible for bonus and equity awards. Compensation varies depending on a number of factors including qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and zone. Zones are determined by location.

Zone A is in SF Bay Area, CA . Base annual salary range: $99,000 to 149,000 + discretionary bonus up to 10% + preIPO equity.
