As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design and implementation of geospatial mapping and data visualization solutions, support microservices development, and assist in Maersk's digital transformation. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies and cloud-native platforms to optimize performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in designing and implementing geospatial mapping experiences and data visualizations.

- Develop and maintain high-quality software, working both independently and collaboratively.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform continuous product discovery.

- Support teammates in driving performance, scalability, security, and reliability.

- Monitor platform health metrics and participate in on-call rotations.

- Work with Product Owners to implement new features and contribute to the product roadmap.

- Innovate with new technologies, focusing on value without compromising functionality.

- Ensure high availability, geographic redundancy, and disaster recovery in designs.

- Implement automation, monitoring, logging, and alerting for continuous deployment.

Required Qualifications:

- Experience with geospatial data and technology (e.g., PostGIS, Apache Spark).

- Knowledge of geospatial data formats, coordinate reference systems, and conversions.

- Familiarity with SecDevOps practices and cloud environments.

- Experience with messaging technologies (e.g., Kafka, Azure EventHub).

- Proficient in Java, RESTful APIs, and agile methodologies (TDD, BDD).

- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).

- Between 5 to 9 years of relevant professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with Kubernetes, serverless workloads, and cloud-based services.

- Knowledge of PostgreSQL, ArgoCD, CEPH, and Thanos.

- Proficiency in Python, Go, Kotlin, or C.

- Experience with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
