Software Engineer I
Job Description
Essential Functions:
- Contribute during the entire software development process including requirements, design, implementation, test, debugging and deployment.
- Develop Embedded Linux, Windows PC and microcontroller software applications using C, C++, and occasionally other programming languages.
- Deploy and maintain software on Embedded Linux and Microsoft Windows PC based platforms.
- Expand the capabilities of our software products by developing new features and Integrating data from hardware such as GPS/GNSS, LiDAR and Accelerometers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related Software Development focused field (recent college graduates welcome).
- 0-3 years software development experience (additional experience from Internships or Industry welcomed)
- Ability to grow your professional skills and learn from challenges.
- Possess good organization and problem-solving skills.
- US Citizenship.
Desired Qualifications
- Hands on Embedded programming experience in college projects, internships, or industry.
- Knowledge of Linux, Linux programming or Embedded Linux concepts.
- Knowledge of software development using Microsoft Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code.
