Software Engineer I

Modivcare is looking for an experienced Software Engineer. In this role, you will design and support new software applications for Modivcare. You will have take an assigned project and work with business owners and IT support staff to develop the software product. You will document the functional and design specifications of the software to ensure the product handles the users' needs. You will report to the Software Development team.

You will...

• Develop business applications in client-server or web-based environments.
• Implement a coding strategy and design that meets the goals set forth in the requirements planning session.
• Conduct design and requirement meetings with peer engineers and partners.
• Work with senior development staff to develop overall design of new systems, modules and data layouts.
• Unit test your work and partner with the Quality Assurance group to test and fix bugs in the software.
• Support the creation and development of user documentation.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with software development.
• Proficiency in software development tools, including programming languages and reporting tools.

Salary: $69,220 - 122,896/annually
