We are seeking a Software Engineer Ito join our team for this hybrid opportunity working out of our Waltham, MA; Austin, TX; or St. Petersburg, FL offices.
Job Summary
As part of the product development team you will work fixing issues and implementing features in the product or any part of its ecosystem, with particular attention to performance, security and quality in order to increase customer satisfaction. It is expected that you understand our development process and the standards used by the team and follow them effectively and seamlessly with the rest of the team. We also expect you to contribute documenting and specifying the process iteratively so we can always keep it up to date. You will be working with the product fixing issues, implementing features and/or standalone projects with a focus on gaining deeper understanding of the product and the technology stack. As a member of the development team you are responsible for the quality of the product and you will make a conscious effort to improve it whenever possible. You are expected to write unit, integration and end-to-end tests, gather feedback through demos and code reviews and own parts of the product as you work in them.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Understand the product and the Software Development Cycle
• Collaborates with QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, other Developers, and the
  Director of Software Development during the development cycles of the product
• Helps keep and increase product quality
• Reviews code and designs from other team members, providing feedback when
  possible
• Learns, understands and applies security best practices for enterprise software

Required Qualifications

• Object Oriented Design
• Web Development
• Excellent technical, written, and verbal communication skills
• Reliable and trustworthy

This position offers a salary range of $64,000.00 to $95,000.00 (inclusive of variable compensation such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata's benefit offerings can be found here . This salary range represents the high and low end of Imprivata's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate's location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
