About our Team

This team operates the first-ever Faculty Information System for higher education institutions. Additionally this team supports the widely used Dossier product for individual scholars, and the Researchfish impact assessment platform for funders and research organizations.

About the Role

This entry-level Software Developer position performs basic software development assignments within a specific software functional area or product line. You will be surrounded by a brilliant set of technologists working within our advanced Tech Stack.

Responsibilities

• Writing and revieing portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of simple complexity.• Complete simple bug fixes.
• Collaborating: Under the guidance of senior-level engineers, successfully implement development processes, coding best practices and code reviews
• Operating in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders.
• Collaborating with other Technical and Non-Technical professionals.

Requirements

• Have a basic knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Possess the desire to use technology to drive innovation in academia.
• Possess knowledge of applicable development languages including Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX, and .Net.
• Have the ability and desire to learn new processes and technologies.
