Duties
- Individual will assist the Diabetes Care Manufacturing Operational Technology (OT) team manage software applications relevant to our manufacturing processes.
- Upgrade COTS applications to develop or support manufacturing processes
- Administer COTS applications to ensure proper execution and performance
- Interact with IT teams regarding technologies such as: Active Directory, Windows Server, SQL, Oracle, VMWare, Cisco switches and firewalls
- Open and close service tickets
- Develop and document processes
- Develop and execute test protocols in a GxP environment, using GAMP
- May act as expert in functional area
Skills and Education:
- 5+ years' experience in systems development and manufacturing support in Life Sciences
- Experience administering Rockwell FactoryTalk AssetCentre
- Experience administering OSISoft PI, data historian
- Familiarity with Rockwell Logix PLC, or other automation control systems
- Familiarity with ServiceNow
- Solid understanding of networking (VLAN's, SNMP, subnets, switches, firewalls)
- Ability to communicate complex technical problems concisely and professionally to technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be detail-orientated
- Ability to work well in a self-managed or team environment
- Use troubleshooting skills to solve OT issues in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or related field
