CMT is looking for a collaborative, customer-committed, and creative engineering team member who wants to join us in making roads safer by making drivers better!

Responsibilities:

• Implement technical specifications provided by senior developers with some guidance
• Assist in solving complex problems and transform them into business solutions
• Participate in code and design discussions
• Design and build full-stack applications with guidance
• Implement software solutions that are reliable, readable and testable
• 'Follow company defined development and operational standards and processes
• Provide on-call support during business critical emergency scenarios. Support and troubleshoot production issues as needed.
• Complete any additional tasks as they arise

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or related experience and/or certification
• Ability to learn quickly and solve complex problems
• Proficient at least one of the programming languages like Python, Java, Kotlin or Swift
• Understanding of software development principles and best practices
• Strong computer science foundational knowledge
• Ability to commute to our Cambridge, MA office 3 days per week
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Customer obsessed, demonstrates initiative, has a learning mindset, takes ownership
• An analytical mindset 
• Bonus: Have an understanding of Agile development methodologies (specifically SCRUM)
