Software Engineer I, iOS

About the role

• Development and Maintenance: Design and build applications for the iOS platform
• Code Quality: Write clean, optimized, and readable code. Collaborate in code reviews to maintain our coding standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with senior developers, product managers, designers and other team members to understand requirements and implement solutions.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest iOS development trends, tools, and technologies, and continuously improve your skills to enhance the quality and efficiency of iOS app development.
• Testing: Write and execute unit and integration tests to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs, while troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.

In the role of Software Engineer I, iOS you will report to the Senior Engineering Manager, iOS. 

We are considering applicants for the location of Chisinau, Moldova. 

About You

• Some familiarity with Swift or Objective-C development. 
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to think outside the box.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• An eagerness to learn and adapt in a collaborative team environment.

The iOS platform team builds and maintains our Crunchyroll apps for iOS and Apple TV to provide the best-in-class anime experience for our global audience.
