• Product Team: Automated Business Planning- Ground up cloud native service built, UX and API driven SaaS product on our Luminate Platform.
• Help shape lives of millions of customers around the world of some of the leading companies around the world by shaping he automated intake and autonomous response to the supply and market events that allow the business entity to accurately understand the response to the latest disruptions experienced by the supply chain.
• Team: Global team starting to build from the ground-up planned to have associates across US, Germany, India, and Mexico and is expected to grow rapidly. Current Technical Environment

• Our tools of trade: Python, React, Typescript, Java Spring, Gradle, GitHub (run-of-the-mill and the new cool GitHub Actions, Rest API, Unix Shell, OAuth, Kafka, Mongo NoSQL, MySQL, Graph databases, Snowflake
• Methodology: DevOps and it's 3 ways. We iterate fast and that open collaborative culture helps us get there. Agile principles are helping us in our day-today. We are test driven because we know when you just code instead of being test driven, you'd go slower.
• Application Architecture: Scalable, Resilient, event driven, secure multi-tenant Microservices architecture
• Cloud Architecture: Microsoft Azure (Infrastructure as Code, ARM templates, AKS, ELK observability, Application gateway, Virtual Networks, Event Hub, Azure AD)
• Other cool methodologies/technologies: UX Atomic Design, Kubernetes, Elastic Search, Spark, NOSQL, Feature Flags, NPM, pipenv, Gradle.

What you will do:

• Design, Develop, test, and maintain as a team services, API and front end with all the CI/CD and automation in between to allow the team more autonomy.
• Plan and prioritize your work with inputs from your lead and team.
• Mentor (and learn from) the junior development of your team while interacting with other Sr developer and architects across Blue Yonder.
• Chart new initiatives/technologies to take our products to the next level.
• Participate in build roadmap features driven by testing methodology.
• Provide architectural design (inputs/suggestions) on features
• Help improve daily work to make yours and other teams more productive
• Promote the: "Leave the camp cleaner than you found it", in constant refactoring to constantly improve the experience of creating new features.
• Participate in democratizing code reviews. No one is above peer review, and we take pride and all levels of the team giving feedback and learning from each other.
• We are strong believers in: "You build it you own it.". That means that, like in many other lead cloud-oriented companies, the team that builds a service also gets to operate it and experience how our customers utilize it so we can constantly improve by empathy.
• Participate in implementing performance benchmark tests. Because when we measure, we improve.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 1-2 years of related experience that includes some experience in microservices and REST API development
• Experience in performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting for large distributed system
• Cloud operation knowledge, experience with Kafka, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, and ignite
• Experience writing Java/J2EE applications and knowledge of its ecosystems, libraries, and frameworks
• Experience with Object Oriented Design
• Experience with SQL databases
• Experience with SaaS platforms such as Azure
• Understanding of modern architectures, key components, and aspects related to performance including web server, app server, service containers, relational and non-relational databases
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues
