Our engineering team is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to help build on our core platform to support users in quantifying their cyber risk, assessing the status of their cybersecurity programs, and analyzing their insurance policies.

What you’ll do:

As a Software Engineer,  you will help lead the architecture, design, and development of our web application using modern architectural best practices.

You will work closely with a product and design team to map business requirements to technical capabilities and deliver product features and solutions with platform API engineers.

Preferred technical experience:

• 2-3 years of experience designing and building commercial or enterprise web application front-ends
• Strong TypeScript and JavaScript experience
• Strong React, HTML, CSS, Node.js
• MongoDB
• Interfacing with GraphQL APIs (Apollo)
• Experience with front-end test automation technologies (Cypress, Jest, etc)
• Experience with Victory, D3 or other client-side graphing libraries

Bonus skills:

• Python
• Redux
• Development in Docker and K8s environment
• Comfortable working in *Nix environment
• Background in statistics, economics, or mathematics
• Experience in cybersecurity and/or insurance industries
