Overview
Summary:
Software Engineer II with 3+ years of development work experience preferably working on service-oriented architecture.
Responsibilities
- New feature development and maintenance on Angular / .NET MVC web apps supported by multi layered APIs (experience / process / system level APIs).
- Write SQL scripts for CRUD operations / Stored procedure development
- Design & Develop APIs as per specifications and business needs including peer process code reviews
- Assess current API interfaces, formats, specifications, domains and service definitions to determine migration approach from current state to target state all while being able to support legacy formats
- Be self-supportive in collaborating with your peers and developers to effectively deliver robust solutions by providing technical advice, coaching and mentoring
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience with full stack development, including application, API (RESTful), testing, and automation experience
- NET(C#) / javascript languages
- Git source control
- Front end frameworks (Angular preferred)
- SQL for database design (MSSQL, Elastic, etc.)
- API/Application security best practices
- Unit test frameworks (.NET / javascript)
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum oriented environment and collaborating with the team to solve technical challenges using rapid and iterative development
- Superior communication skills with the ability to interface with business analysts to discuss timelines, clarify requirements, enhancements, and bug fixes
Preferred:
- Azure DevOps Work Management
- Azure DevOps Pipelines
- Cloud experience (AWS / Azure)
- Containers / Kubernetes
- Advanced API Design
- Advanced Database design and administration
Nice to Have:
- Insurance Experience
