Software Engineer II

Trimble Chennai is on the lookout for a proactive Software Engineer to join its Cloud Platform Engineering Team. The role focuses on developing and maintaining robust services across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver modules independently on schedule, should have the ability to work with senior and Junior most team members
• Adapt and learn swiftly in a fast-paced environment.
• Implement, and test software according to specifications.
• Engage in design reviews.
• Conduct product testing, collaborating with quality assurance as needed.
• Contribute to the creation of product documentation.
• Undertake additional duties as directed by management.

Skills / Tools Required:

• Proficiency in any Java LTS version above 8.Or
• Proficiency in Python and Python web frameworks.
• Experience with Angular or React for Rich UI development.
• Good Experience in Unit Testing.
• Knowledge of the Spring framework.
• Experience in RDBMS and NoSQL
• Understanding of AWS/Azure basics, including basic deployment and networking models, and SaaS.
