Software Engineer, II

Job Description and Requirements

Join our diverse and talented IT Solution team and get to work on exciting and challenging initiatives to transform global infrastructure design to support Synopsys
You will be working on the design, development, testing, debugging and specialized support of our software engineering tools and applications which encompass the entire development on-prem and Cloud environments, CI/CD workflows, and code check-in tools. Expect to work on problems of diverse scope and design technical solutions applying data analytics and modern engineering practices. Tier 2 and tier 3 support will also be part of the work scope.

Requirements

• Good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in developing software tools and full Stack solutions, using high-level languages such as Python.
• Good Knowledge and experience in using & building REST APIs in Python, Flask & Django
• Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies
• Familiarity with a source code control system such as Git, Perforce, Bitbucket, etc.
• Knowledge and experience in OO programming
• Understanding Data science and data pipelines
• Linux administration knowledge is required
• Experience with Azure Cloud is a must, other Clouds as AWS and GCP are a plus
• Understanding of Networking concepts for on-prem and Azure Cloud
• knowledge of NFS and Directory services such as LDAP/AD is a plus

Education Requirements:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related degree.
